Hello and welcome

You may be just starting to explore counselling or you may have a clear idea about the kind of therapist you are looking for. I know how important it is to find the right fit for you - if I haven’t answered your questions please feel free to get in touch.

I am an experienced BACP-registered counselling therapist working in Brighton & Hove and online. I have many years’ experience working in the NHS, in private practice and with local community mental health services and charities.

I offer a confidential and supportive space to talk about whatever is troubling you. This may be something specific or a more general feeling that things aren't right that you can't quite put your finger on.

As every individual is unique, so every therapeutic relationship will be unique. Together we can explore your story in a way that feels holding, supportive and authentic. I aim to work in a way that is affirming of your identity, race, culture, ability, sexuality, gender and neurodivergence. Find out more about how I can support you here.

Taking the first step can be difficult. You may feel anxious about getting in touch or meeting for the first time. I offer an initial reduced cost session for us to meet and decide whether we feel like a good fit. We can do this either online or face to face. Feel free to bring any concerns or questions you may have about counselling or about my approach.

I offer both short term or more open-ended counselling.

Finding the right counsellor for you is important which is why I offer a reduced cost initial exploratory session for £20 so that you can meet me and discuss your needs before deciding whether to make a commitment to work together.
